    SUD WRAP provides MAT (medications for addiction treatment) to individuals of all ages experiencing an Alcohol Use Disorder or Opioid Use Disorder. We are outpatient by appointment only and can provide care coordination services to link clients to any additional services that would be of benefit in their treatment.

    Payments Accepted: Services are billed to Medi-Cal insurance and will be free of charge to the Medi-Cal beneficiary.

    The Lompoc Valley Medical Center (LVMC) Emergency Department provides bridge prescriptions of Suboxone for individuals with opioid use disorders that desire recovery.  Depending on the patient’s last use and severity of symptoms, patients will be either treated with a dose of Buprenorphine in the hospital or written a prescription with instructions on how to self-start from home, microdose/cross taper and avoid precipitated withdrawal. Due to the high demand of MAT services and wait times to be seen, LVMC ED providers write a two- to three-week Bridge Suboxone prescription for patients that want to start MAT.

    Patients are educated on outpatient options available in the Lompoc area for continued MAT management and encouraged to make an appointment with a provider as soon as possible.

    Other services:

    Behavioral Health Services. Patients can be referred to Lompoc Health Behavioral Health for an assessment with a clinician where they will either continue to be seen or referred to another local therapist, dependent upon the patient’s needs. 

    Recovery Services.  The ED Patient Navigator is a Certified Peer Support Specialist who serves patients in all areas of the hospital and also meets with patients in the outpatient setting for peer support, motivational interviewing and linkages to continued care.

    Payments Accepted: Services can be billed through insurance (CenCal/Medi-Cal or private insurance).

    YOR Place provides youth-driven community outreach, drop-in services, and access to prevention, intervention, treatment, medication for addiction treatment (MAT), and recovery services for youth (ages 12-24) who are misusing opioids and/or stimulants.

  • Good Samaritan Shelter: Another Road Detox

    Another Road Detox is a 6 bed facility with Detoxification (Withdrawal Management) and Residential Treatment services. The program provides 24 hour supervision with a homelike environment to residents who are struggling with substance abuse issues. The goal is to obtain sobriety, develop coping skills in order to maintain ongoing recovery and help integrate back into the community.  MAT services are allowed for clients in Withdrawal Management and Residential Treatment. Clients assessed as having an Opioid Use Disorder will be referred to a partnering clinic and/or Physician for MAT services.

    Recovery Way Home is a 16 bed facility that provides Residential Treatment services with a warm “home” environment. Women staying at these programs receive extra support from experienced staff and peers. Residential Treatment services for Women, perinatal and non-perinatal with on-site childcare and Case Management services.  Clients assessed as having an Opioid Use Disorder will be referred to a partnering clinic and/or Physician for MAT services.

    Turning Point Outpatient Treatment is designed for women with SUD and co-occurring  issues. Additionally, TP  specializes in providing services to pregnant women with the goal of delivering drug free babies. The program works hand-in-hand with the agency’s residential treatment programs to provide a supportive living environment for women unable to attain sobriety independently. Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Treatment services for women, both perinatal and non-perinatal women, provides on-site childcare.  Clients assessed as having an Opioid Use Disorder will be referred to a partnering clinic and/or Physician for MAT services.

This program also coordinates ancillary services, as well as provides on site childcare for those undergoing treatment.

    The Project Recovery Treatment Centers, operated by the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) offers low-cost outpatient treatment services for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders for adults and young adults. Treatment services are founded upon evidence-based curricula and consists of group and individual counseling, random drug testing, and individual crisis counseling as needed. Each client has a primary counselor who conducts a comprehensive assessment to determine the type of treatment plan that’s right for them. Clients assessed as having an opioid use disorder who are interested in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) will be referred to CADA’s addiction specialist, who can prescribe MAT, for further assessment. They can then enroll in Project Recovery’s treatment programs to help support their recovery while receiving MAT. Services are available in the early mornings and evenings to accommodate working clients.

    In Santa Barbara, Project Recovery also offers The Perinatal Program, an intensive outpatient treatment program that serves pregnant women and parents of both genders with substance abuse issues and provides transportation and onsite child care for children six years and under.

    Case management helps link clients to resources such as mental health treatment, housing, food, monetary assistance, and medical care.

    Recovery Services provide support to program graduates.  This may include individual meetings with their primary counselor, case management for school, medical, or mental health needs, relapse prevention support (ability to attend groups or contact counselor as needed), and continued support for family relationships.

    Payments Accepted: Services are offered on a sliding-fee scale or can be billed through insurance (CenCal/Medi-Cal or private insurance, in network).

    The Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Treatment Centers, operated by the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) offers outpatient treatment services for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders for teens and young adults. Treatment services are founded upon evidence-based curricula that give young clients the knowledge, structure, and support to evaluate the significance of their drug and alcohol use, move them to a place of abstinence, and provide support for sustained recovery. Treatment consists of group and individual counseling, family-focused treatment, random drug testing, and individual crisis counseling as needed. 

    The Centers offer a comprehensive assessment to help clients and their families determine the type of treatment plan that’s right for them. Clients assessed as having an opioid use disorder who are interested in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) will be referred to CADA’s addiction specialist, who can prescribe MAT, for further assessment. They can then enroll in the Center’s treatment programs to help support their recovery while receiving MAT. In Santa Barbara, youth may be seen on site by an addiction specialist who can prescribe MAT. Clients in Lompoc and Santa Maria will be referred to partnering clinics and physicians for MAT evaluations. They can then enroll in the Center’s treatment programs to help support their recovery while receiving MAT.

    Other services:

    Case management to help link clients and families to resources such as mental health treatment, housing, food, monetary assistance, medical care.

    Services for Parents, including resources for parenting, mental health services for family members of clients, and family counseling to support the recovery process.
