Recovery Point Acute Care is a 12-bed facility with Detoxification (Withdrawal Management) and Residential Treatment services.The program provides 24 hour supervision with a homelike environment to residents who are struggling with substance abuse issues. The goal is to obtain sobriety, develop coping skills in order to maintain ongoing recovery and help integrate back into the community. MAT services are allowed for clients in WM and Residential Treatment. Clients assessed as having an Opioid Use Disorder will be referred to a partnering clinic and/or Physician for MAT services.
Services Offered
Good Samaritan Shelter provides a variety of SUD services throughout the Central Coast Valley. Comprehensive services include Residential Treatment for both men and women, Withdrawal Management (Detoxification) services, Outpatient Treatment Services that include Intensive Outpatient and Recovery Services (aftercare). Clients assessed as having an Opioid Use Disorder will be referred to a partnering clinic and/or Physician for MAT services.
Approach to Care
The treatment that is offered for withdrawal from drugs and alcohol is simple, safe, inexpensive and effective. We provide one-on-one counseling sessions, drug and alcohol education and information, and long-term aftercare. Clients attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings to remain both clean and sober.
