The Residential Treatment and Withdrawal Management program at Santa Barbara Hospitality House is a program of the Salvation Army. Hospitality House provides Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment programs to assist adult (age 18 and over) men and women with a substance abuse disorder diagnosis to obtain and maintain sobriety. Treatment services include a combination of best and evidence-based practices. Treatment services can only be provided to clients with a substance use disorder diagnosis when determined by a Medical Director or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) as medically necessary. The program accepts clients who are undergoing Medication-Assisted Treatment.
If an individual is interested in accessing Residential Treatment and Withdrawal Management services, he/she must first get an assessment and approval through Santa Barbara County Behavioral Wellness Access Line at (888) 868-1649 (24-Hour Toll-Free). The assessment the county facilitates will determine the Level of Care (residential treatment, withdrawal management, outpatient treatment, high/low intensity, etc.). The individual will then be provided an opportunity to receive a referral to one of the agencies providing that Level of Care. Once we (The Salvation Army) receive a referral from the county, we will contact the individual within 24-hours to discuss the program and schedule an intake. Referrals are provided when there is a wait to enter the program or if the program is not a proper fit for an individual.
Payments Accepted: Santa Barbara County Medi-Cal only.
